We welcome those who are single or married, divorced or engaged. We welcome the filthy rich and dirt poor. We also welcome those who are old as dirt, skinny as a rail, or could afford to lose a few pounds. We welcome you if you are dressed in Versace, or only the shirt on your back. We welcome anyone who can sing like Stevie Wonder or who (like Shane West) can’t carry a tune in a bucket. You are welcome here if you are just browsing, just woke up, or just got out of jail. We don’t care if you are holier than Swiss cheese or haven’t been to church since your nephew’s baptism in 1988. We welcome soccer moms, NASCAR dads, starving artists, tree-huggers, latte-sippers, nose-pickers, tax collectors, veterans, vegetarians, and junk-food junkies.
If you blew all your offering money at the casino, you are welcome here. If you are inked, pierced, or both, you are in the right place. If you are in recovery or still addicted, we are happy to see you! We welcome you because we have experienced the thrill of being welcomed by God. We were once a mess, but God willingly welcomed us through the Cross-stretched arms of Jesus. He gave His life so we could experience real life, receive future hope and be part of His forever family.

Shane West is a dedicated evangelist, accomplished author, and the current pastor of Journey Church. With a passion for spreading the Gospel and empowering others in their faith journey, Shane has spent 35 years traveling extensively to share his message of hope and redemption.

Sharing our Christian faith in the marketplace is vital because it demonstrates the relevance of our beliefs in everyday life, influencing others through genuine interactions and ethical practices. By embodying Christ’s teachings in our professional conduct, we can inspire hope, foster community, and promote values that transcend transactions, ultimately reflecting the love and grace of God to those around us!
Recovery
Reaching individuals suffering from addictions is crucial for promoting healing and recovery, as it helps break the cycle of isolation and despair that often accompanies substance use disorders. By providing support and resources, we can empower these individuals to reclaim their lives, restore relationships, and contribute positively to their communities. We are looking for volunteers to help minister hope!
Groups
Journey Church home groups foster deep connections among members, providing a supportive environment for spiritual growth and mutual encouragement. These groups create a sense of belonging, allowing individuals to share their faith journeys, learn from one another, and serve together, ultimately strengthening the entire church community.
